Role Overview:
The Curriculum Leader (English) will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of the English curriculum, ensuring it aligns with academic goals and enhances the learning experience. This role requires leadership in curriculum management, teacher training, and continuous improvement to maintain the quality of education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Development and Implementation:
- Design, implement, and continuously improve the English curriculum to ensure it meets educational standards and enhances student learning.
- Work closely with faculty to ensure effective curriculum delivery.
- Teacher Training:
- Conduct teacher training sessions to ensure all educators are well-prepared to implement the English curriculum effectively.
- Provide ongoing support and professional development to English teachers.
- Quality Assurance:
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the English curriculum and make adjustments as necessary.
- Ensure that the curriculum aligns with educational policies and standards.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with other academic leaders to ensure the English curriculum integrates well with other subjects.
- Maintain communication with the regional office, providing updates and feedback regarding the curriculum’s effectiveness.
Key Requirements:
- Education:
- Master’s or MPhil in English or a related field.
- Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in curriculum implementation and teacher training, preferably within the education sector.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to design and implement effective training programs.
- Knowledge of educational standards and curriculum development processes.
