Nishat Mills is now looking to hire an Assistant Dyeing Master to join their Yarn Dyeing division.
Job Summary:
Nishat Mills is seeking a highly skilled Assistant Dyeing Master to manage and oversee the dyeing process in the Yarn Dyeing division. This position involves monitoring dyeing batches, maintaining accurate production records, ensuring shade continuity, and coordinating with multiple departments to ensure smooth operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in textile engineering and hands-on experience in dyeing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Batch Monitoring and Record Keeping:
- Monitor dyeing batches through the Orgatex system and maintain accurate production records.
- Ensure the consistency and accuracy of dyeing processes in alignment with company standards.
- Shade Matching:
- Match shades to approved standards and maintain shade continuity across production batches.
- Staff Coordination and Task Assignment:
- Assign tasks to staff, including the collection of greige fabric, batch preparation, and chemical weighing.
- Cross-Department Coordination:
- Coordinate with the drying, winding, lab, and maintenance departments to ensure the smooth operation of the dyeing process.
Key Requirements:
- Educational Qualification:
- BS in Textile Engineering or an equivalent degree.
- Experience:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in dyeing operations, particularly within the textile industry.
- Skills and Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of dyeing processes, including shade matching and dyeing batch management.
- Experience working with Orgatex or similar dyeing management systems.
- Strong coordination and team management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
