Job Title: Officer Accounts

Location: Karachi
Education: Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field. ACCA, CA, or ICMA certifications will be an advantage.
Experience: 3 to 5 years of professional experience in accounting or finance

Key Responsibilities:

The Officer Accounts will be responsible for managing and overseeing accounting functions to ensure financial accuracy and compliance. Specific duties include:

1. Financial Record Management:
   • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for The City School.
   • Oversee daily accounting functions such as ledger entries, bank reconciliation, and payment processing.
2. Financial Reporting:
   • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal review and audits.
   • Provide necessary documentation for external audits and compliance reporting.
3. Accounts Payable & Receivable:
   • Ensure timely processing of invoices, payments, and receipts.
   • Monitor and maintain records of accounts payable and receivable.
4. Budgeting and Forecasting:
   • Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets.
   • Provide financial analysis and assist in the forecasting process to support decision-making.
5. Compliance and Documentation:
   • Ensure compliance with all accounting policies, tax regulations, and industry standards.
   • Keep all accounting documents and financial records organized for easy retrieval and review.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Education:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
  • Additional certifications such as ACCA, CA, or ICMA will be an added advantage.
• Experience:
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional experience in accounting or finance.
• Skills:
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite (especially Excel).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with both internal and external stakeholders.
