Qualification: Master’s in Education or equivalent
Experience: 2-4 years of experience in developing, managing, and implementing History & Geography curriculum and teaching at Middle or Senior Level

Key Responsibilities:
As the Senior Officer Curriculum – History and Geography, you will play a pivotal role in the development, design, and implementation of the History & Geography curriculum for both the Middle and Senior levels. Your responsibilities will include:
- Curriculum Development & Design:
- Assist in developing and designing the History & Geography curriculum, ensuring it aligns with UCS’s educational goals and meets academic standards.
- Work closely with the relevant stakeholders to ensure that the curriculum is both engaging and effective for students.
- Implementation & Monitoring:
- Monitor the effective implementation of the curriculum in classrooms and provide support to educators.
- Ensure that the curriculum is being delivered in a way that supports student success and overall academic achievement.
- Training & Professional Development:
- Organize and lead training sessions and workshops for teachers to ensure they are equipped with the knowledge and tools to effectively teach History & Geography.
- Develop lesson plans, schemes of work, and assessments that support curriculum delivery and enhance student learning outcomes.
- Curriculum Evaluation & Continuous Improvement:
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the curriculum and make necessary adjustments based on feedback and results.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in History and Geography education and incorporate best practices into the curriculum.
Skills Required:
- Proficiency in English Language:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English to ensure effective interaction with colleagues, students, and parents.
- Curriculum Expertise:
- In-depth knowledge of the History & Geography curriculum, including the ability to design, implement, and evaluate educational content effectively.
- Familiarity with assessment techniques, test principles, and instructional material development.
- Proficiency in MS Office:
- Strong skills in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel to create curriculum documents, reports, and presentations.
- Training & Development Skills:
- Expertise in designing and conducting training sessions for teachers and educational staff to enhance their understanding of History & Geography curriculum.
