Company Overview:
We are hiring for the position of Assistant Manager Systems & Audit (Construction) at our Head Office in Lahore. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the cost efficiency, quality, and compliance of all construction-related activities, including repair and maintenance, mega projects, international projects, and special initiatives. This is a great opportunity for individuals with a strong background in construction systems, auditing, and project management to contribute to the company’s overall success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Audit Construction Activities:
Oversee and audit repair and maintenance activities, contractor bills, and vendor payments to ensure accurate billing and cost control. - Quality and Quantity Verification:
Verify the quality and quantity of construction materials through site visits and laboratory tests to ensure compliance with project standards. - Contract Compliance:
Ensure that all activities are compliant with contracts, cost standards (CSQs), and market rates. This includes making sure that project activities adhere to agreed terms. - Mega and International Projects Audits:
Conduct detailed audits for mega and international projects to ensure transparency in costing, and report any discrepancies for resolution. - Oversee Special Projects:
Manage special construction projects by ensuring construction standards are followed and evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of these projects.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education:
A B-Tech degree or a qualified engineering degree is required. - Experience:
- B-Tech Candidates: 6-7 years of relevant experience.
- Qualified Engineers: 2-3 years of experience in roles such as QS (Quantity Surveyor), Costing Engineer, or direct construction-related activities.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D/3D, Microsoft Office, and Primavera Software.
- Experience in auditing construction-related activities is preferred.
