Airblue, one of Pakistan’s leading airlines, is currently hiring for the Assistant Manager Corporate Planning position at its Corporate Headquarters in Islamabad. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in the aviation industry and contribute to the strategic planning and development of Airblue’s network and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Network Expansion Analysis:
  Identify and review opportunities for network expansion in both existing and new routes. You will be tasked with evaluating the feasibility and potential of new routes to support Airblue’s growth.
• Business Case Development & Route Economics:
  Present business cases and interpret route economics, including key metrics like RASK (Revenue per Available Seat Kilometer), CASK (Cost per Available Seat Kilometer), Breakeven Load Factor, and overall route profitability.
• IATA Schedule Management:
  Publish and communicate the IATA Winter and Summer schedules to ensure Airblue’s operations align with industry standards and customer expectations.
• Slot Management:
  Oversee slot submissions, usage monitoring, and compliance at Level 2 and Level 3 airports, ensuring the smooth allocation of airport slots to minimize disruptions in flight operations.
• Collaboration with Stakeholders:
  Work closely with airport authorities, regulatory bodies, and internal teams to align slot strategies with operational goals and objectives.
• Conflict Resolution:
  Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders including airlines, slot coordinators, and airport authorities, to ensure smooth slot allocation and resolve any potential slot-related conflicts or challenges that could impact operations.
• Schedule Information Management:
  Respond promptly to internal requests for schedule information, ensuring seamless communication across departments.

Skills Required:

• Advanced Excel skills to analyze and manipulate complex datasets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint to create impactful presentations.
• Experience with Power BI and Tableau for data visualization will be considered highly competitive.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions that support the company’s strategic goals.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders.
