📌 Position Overview

Role Title: Deputy General Manager – Accounts
Location: Plot Z63, SITE Phase 2, M-9, Phase 2, Karachi, Sindh
Position Type: Full-Time, Senior Management

As the Deputy General Manager – Accounts, you will oversee all financial operations, including general ledger (GL), accounts payable/receivable (AP/AR), and financial reporting. You will work closely with the treasury function, lead financial planning, and ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and tax regulations.

🎓 Required Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

Education:
- ACCA, CMA, or CA qualification is preferred.
Experience:
- A minimum of 10-15 years of experience in progressively senior accounting roles.
- At least 5 years in a managerial capacity, ideally within the textile or manufacturing sector.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS) and taxation laws.
- Experience with ERP systems and financial analysis.
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing finance teams.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

As the Deputy General Manager – Accounts, your role will include, but not be limited to:

Overseeing all accounting operations, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and financial reporting.
Supporting the development and enforcement of accounting policies and procedures to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
Managing treasury functions and overseeing cash flow planning to maintain financial stability.
Ensuring the timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards.
Ensuring compliance with tax, legal, and regulatory requirements.
Evaluating ERP systems and contributing to digital finance transformation initiatives.
Coordinating internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with tax laws, SECP regulations, and other statutory requirements.
Providing financial analysis to support business expansion, cost reduction initiatives, and capital investments.
