Ltd. in Karachi, Pakistan is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Manager Sustainability and Materials. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead initiatives in sustainable material practices while contributing to the growth and success of our organization.
Qualifications and Experience
To thrive in this role, candidates should possess a Masters degree in Supply Chain Management, Sustainability, or a related field. We are looking for individuals with a minimum of 10 years of experience, preferably within the textile sector.
Responsibilities
As the Manager Sustainability and Materials, you will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of sustainable material practices. Key responsibilities include:
- Sourcing Expertise: Demonstrated experience and a strong grasp of sourcing cotton noil is essential. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have expertise in procuring post-consumer and post-industrial waste materials.
- Sustainability Leadership: Drive the development and implementation of sustainable material strategies and initiatives within the organization. This includes identifying opportunities for improvement and staying abreast of industry trends and best practices.
- Supplier Management: Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure the consistent availability of sustainable materials. Collaborate with suppliers to drive innovation and sustainability throughout the supply chain.
- Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with relevant sustainability standards and regulations. Prepare and present reports on sustainability metrics, highlighting progress and areas for improvement.
Location and Deadline
This position is based in Landhi, Karachi, Pakistan. The deadline for applications is 5th April 2024.
