Job Role: As a Team Lead Cutting, you will be responsible for overseeing and leading the cutting department, ensuring precision and efficiency in material processing operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and supervising the cutting department team, providing guidance and support in daily operations.
- Allocating tasks and responsibilities among team members to ensure efficient workflow.
- Executing precision cutting operations according to specifications and quality standards.
- Maintaining and operating cutting equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and calibration.
- Enforcing safety protocols and compliance with relevant regulations in the cutting department.
- Collaborating with production planning to prioritize cutting schedules and meet production targets.
- Analyzing material requirements and coordinating with procurement for timely material availability.
- Training and mentoring team members on cutting techniques, equipment operation, and safety procedures.
- Monitoring and documenting key performance indicators (KPIs) related to cutting efficiency and quality.
- Troubleshooting and addressing any issues or defects in the cutting process promptly.
- Conducting regular inspections of cutting tools and equipment, recommending replacements or upgrades as needed.
- Collaborating with senior management to provide insights and recommendations for process improvements in the cutting department.
Requirements: To be considered for this role, you should have:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- 4-5 years of relevant experience in cutting operations.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively lead and manage a team.
Location: This position is located at our facility in the Landhi Industrial Area, Karachi.
