In this article, we’ll delve into the specifics of the role to provide you with a better understanding and insight into what it entails.

Role Overview: As a Knits Merchandiser at CAMBRIDGER, you’ll be at the forefront of managing and overseeing the entire product development process for knitted fabrics and garments. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough costing and pricing analysis to ensure the competitiveness and profitability of our products. Additionally, you’ll play a pivotal role in monitoring production activities to ensure timely delivery and adherence to our stringent quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the product development process for knitted fabrics and garments from conception to delivery.
  • Conduct comprehensive costing and pricing analysis to maintain competitiveness and profitability.
  • Monitor production activities to ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  • Coordinate Pre-Production Review (PPR) meetings to address any issues before mass production.
  • Evaluate samples to ensure they meet design and quality specifications.
  • Communicate effectively with the factory and design team to ensure seamless collaboration and understanding of project requirements.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and innovations in knitted fabrics and garments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in processes and product quality.

Requirements:

  • Education: BBA/MBA or an equivalent degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of detailed product and process experience in knitted fabrics and garment development.
  • Skills: Team Collaboration, Adaptability, Communication Skills.
