The Role:
As a Floor Manager – Food, you will play a pivotal role in our food retail operations, overseeing selling activities, ensuring stock availability, and coordinating promotional campaigns. Your experience and expertise will be crucial in driving sales, maximizing profit margins, and maintaining high standards of customer service.
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree, preferably Masters.
- 5 to 8 years of experience in retail operations, with at least 2 years in a similar role in food categories.
- Specialized product knowledge of food-related product lines, including fruits & vegetables, meat & poultry, bakery, grocery, and food & non-food items.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, monitor, control, and direct all selling activities to ensure attainment of established sales targets and profit margins within acceptable shrinkage levels.
- Review and approve ordering processes, including daily, weekly, or permanent ordering, to ensure availability of merchandise within acceptable stock levels and service standards.
- Coordinate with the buying team on negotiated promotional campaigns that require special merchandising displays.
