Position: Assistant Manager – Financial Reporting
Location: Head Office, Karachi
Responsibilities: As an Assistant Manager – Financial Reporting at Imtiaz, your responsibilities will include:
- Preparation, analysis, and review of financial reports on a monthly basis, including variance analysis.
- Drafting budgets, income statements, balance sheets, and other required financial reports.
- Maintaining and reconciling the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Recording periodic accruals and ensuring compliance with all reporting requirements, including statutory obligations.
- Coordinating with departments to compile and review financial information and supporting documents.
- Administering and ensuring the achievement of all accounting, financial, and operational targets.
- Monitoring monthly closing of accounts and identifying discrepancies in recording transactions for correction.
- Undertaking any other tasks as assigned by the manager.
Requirements:
- ACCA/CIMA/ICMA/MBA in Finance.
- 6-8 years of relevant experience, including article ship (4+ years).
- A good understanding of financial management obligations, including statutory requirements.
