Job Role: Manager Accounts – GL

As the Manager Accounts – GL, you will be entrusted with key responsibilities that contribute to the financial health and strategic decision-making of the organization. Here’s an overview of what the role entails:

1. Variance Analysis: Identify and analyze variances between provisional and actual accounts, employing a meticulous approach to ensure financial accuracy.
2. Data Preparation: Compile data for Business Review Meetings and generate ad-hoc reports for all business units. Your insights will play a crucial role in shaping strategic decisions.
3. ERP Module Closure: Resolve queries related to the closure of ERP modules, including Inventory, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and Fixed Assets.
4. Coordination with Mills: Collaborate with mills to manage and accumulate data related to expenses, contributing to the finalization of Audit Schedules, both internal and external.
5. Financial Reporting: Take ownership of the submission of monthly, quarterly, bi-annual, and annual accounts reports and forecasts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Job Specifications:

To excel in this role, candidates should meet the following qualifications and experience:

• CA-Qualified with 5-7 years of experience, or ACCA/ACMA Qualified with 8-10 years of experience.
• Expertise: Sound knowledge of Accounts Management, Auditing, ERP Usage, Financial Reporting, Advanced Excel, and Data Analysis.
