Position: Manager – New Business Development
Job Description: As a Manager in New Business Development, you will be an integral part of our in-house investment team, responsible for the identification, evaluation, and development of new investment opportunities. Your role will involve collaborating with management to conceptualize and implement new business ventures, consolidating and analyzing financial data, and presenting research findings to facilitate decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Venture Identification: Work closely with management to identify new business ventures and contribute to the implementation of innovative ideas generated by the company.
- Financial Analysis: Consolidate and analyze financial data for new ventures and investments, ensuring a thorough understanding of potential opportunities.
- Presentation and Reporting: Present research and analysis through reports or presentations to assist management in the decision-making process.
- Financial Modeling: Develop financial models as part of the feasibility study for potential investments.
- Investment Development Activities: Actively participate in investment development activities, including liaison with counterparts, data collection, documentary review, and bid compilation.
Requirements:
- Work Experience: Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience. CFA candidates are preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint. Knowledge of financial forecasting, corporate finance, and information analysis. Proficiency in financial modeling is essential.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and spoken English. Outstanding presentation, reporting, and communication skills.
- Education: Suitable candidates must hold a master’s degree in any relevant discipline. CFA candidates are preferred.
Location: The position is based at our Head Office in Lahore.
