We are currently seeking a highly qualified and experienced professional to join our team as the Head of Internal Audit.
Qualification & Experience Criteria: The ideal candidate for the Head of Internal Audit position should meet the following criteria:
- Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) qualified professional.
- Experience: A minimum of 10-12 years of experience in the Internal Audit function, preferably within a large-scale manufacturing concern.
- Post-Qualification Experience: At least 5-6 years of post-qualification experience is required.
Key Job Role:
As the Head of Internal Audit, you will be responsible for the following key responsibilities:
- Formulate Control Strategies: Collaborate with the management and Board Audit Committee to develop control strategies for the business.
- Audit Plan Management: Liaise with internal auditors and ensure compliance with the audit plan as approved by the Audit Committee.
- Annual Audit Plan: Develop an annual risk-based internal audit plan for review and approval by the Audit Committee.
- Risk Mitigation: Plan and execute annual audit plans to ensure that business and operational risks are adequately mitigated.
- Compliance Oversight: Ensure ongoing compliance with internal auditors’ observations and agreed-upon suggestions.
- Corporate Governance: Play a pivotal role in promoting good corporate governance within the organization.
- Process Improvement: Review and assess existing practices, identifying areas for improvement to enhance the effectiveness of internal audit processes.
