Key Responsibilities:
As the Chief Financial Officer, your key responsibilities will include:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and submit financial statements in compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and relevant companies acts.
- Contractual Matters: Collaborate with consultants and represent the company’s interests in contractual matters to safeguard its position.
- Government Liaison: Supervise and resolve queries from CPPA/NEPRA and other governmental functionaries and agencies to prevent adverse actions.
- Process Enhancement: Lead efforts to automate and standardize processes and controls, striving for enhanced productivity and efficient resource utilization.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure timely submission of accounts to NEPRA to meet regulatory requirements.
Person Specifications:
- Qualified CA (Chartered Accountant).
- 3-5 years of relevant post-qualification experience, preferably in the power sector.
