Senior Merchandising Executive – Job Application

Job Description: As a Senior Merchandising Executive, you will play a vital role in assisting the Merchandising Manager with production planning, development, and execution activities. Your meticulous attention to detail will be crucial in ensuring timely delivery of imported items to meet internal and supplier lead times. You will be responsible for maintaining effective communication with customers, ensuring documents and master files are updated promptly, and addressing any issues through email correspondence and our GTS/WFM ticketing system. Additionally, you’ll manage stock levels accurately, making adjustments to fulfill short lead time orders and minimize leftover inventory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the Merchandising Manager to support production planning, development, and execution efforts.
- Proactively follow up with suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of imported items, aligning with internal and supplier lead time requirements.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with customers, addressing document updates, master files, ILA issues, and other concerns through email and our ticketing systems.
- Strategically manage stock levels, making necessary adjustments to meet the demands of short lead time orders and prevent excess inventory.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of merchandising processes and procedures.
Ideal Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BBA) or a relevant field.
- 2-3 years of proven experience in a relevant work role, demonstrating a solid understanding of merchandising and supply chain processes.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in using email communication tools, GTS, and WFM ticketing systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented and dynamic environment.
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive attitude.
