Key Responsibilities
The Senior Executive – Paint Shop will be responsible for quality assurance, process improvement, and audit activities within the paint shop.
- Paint Shop Quality Assurance: Supervise quality assurance operations and ensure compliance with required quality standards.
- New Model Introduction: Coordinate new model launch projects and ensure paint processes are ready for timely product launches.
- Vehicle Quality Monitoring: Maintain feedback between the Vehicle Quality (VQ) line and Paint Shop through vehicle audits and Initial Quality Study (IQS) activities.
- Root Cause Analysis: Investigate market defects, identify their root causes, and submit QIR/QRM-II reports on time.
- Quality Audits: Plan and conduct monthly process, BIP, and ISO audits.
- Compliance: Support compliance with applicable quality management systems and audit requirements.
- Training and Development: Train and mentor Management Trainees (MTOs) and interns, and conduct Floor Skill Training (FST) for new employees.
- Continuous Improvement: Help strengthen technical competence, reduce defects, and promote a quality-focused work culture.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in one of the following disciplines:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Industrial Engineering
- Chemical Engineering
- Metallurgy or Metallurgical Engineering
Professional Experience
Applicants should have 4–6 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in automotive manufacturing, paint shop operations, or quality assurance.
Technical Requirements
Candidates should have:
- Exposure to IMS, ISO, and IATF audits.
- Working knowledge of QIR, QPR/DTRS, and QRM.
- Understanding of new model launch activities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good reporting and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Knowledge of SAP is preferred.
