Outfitters Stores, a leading retail brand in Pakistan, is currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as Deputy Manager Taxation. Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing all tax-related matters for the company, including income tax, sales tax, and other regulatory compliance.
- Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
- Conduct research on tax laws and regulations to stay updated on any changes that may impact the company’s tax liabilities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather relevant financial data and documentation for tax reporting purposes.
- Assist in handling tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities, providing necessary information and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Monitor and analyze tax implications of business transactions, providing recommendations and strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns and payment of taxes to avoid any penalties or legal consequences.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date tax records and documentation.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in taxation to enhance the company’s tax compliance and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations in Pakistan.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in tax software and MS Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work in Lahore, Pakistan on a full-time and permanent basis.
