As part of their ongoing efforts to maintain strong relationships with their alumni and continue fostering a supportive educational community, they are looking to hire an Assistant Manager Alumni Relations to help engage and grow the alumni network.

Job Summary

The Assistant Manager Alumni Relations will be responsible for managing and enhancing alumni engagement across the southern region. This role involves coordinating with alumni chapters, managing alumni events, overseeing alumni data, and creating a robust digital presence for alumni relations. A significant focus will be on effective communication, event planning, and working with various stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Alumni Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with alumni, keeping them engaged through various programs, events, and communication channels.
  • Event Management: Organize and manage alumni events, ensuring that all activities are well-planned, executed, and aligned with the goals of the alumni network.
  • Digital Presence: Manage and update alumni-related content on digital platforms to foster continuous engagement and promote upcoming events and activities.
  • Alumni Data Management: Oversee the maintenance and updating of alumni databases to ensure accurate records of alumni details, events, and participation.
  • Merchandising: Coordinate and manage merchandising and branded material for alumni events and promotions.
  • Budget Management: Assist in the preparation and management of budgets for alumni events and other related activities.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure that alumni relations are aligned with overall organizational goals and strategies.

Requirements:

  • Education: MBA in Marketing, Master’s in Mass Communication, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing, public relations, social media management, or event planning, preferably in the education sector.
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and events.
    • Creativity and initiative in organizing alumni engagement activities.
    • Proficiency in managing digital platforms and social media.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
