Requirements:
- Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience: A minimum of 10 to 12 years of hands-on experience in retail management, with at least 2+ years in a similar role managing store operations independently.
Responsibilities:
- Operational Management: Complete store operational requirements by effectively scheduling and assigning tasks to employees.
- Performance Monitoring: Continuously plan, monitor, and appraise job results to ensure efficiency and quality in store operations.
- Team Development: Maintain store staff through engagement, orientation, and training to foster a high-performing team.
- Inventory Management: Ensure the availability of merchandise and implement proper replenishment strategies.
- Customer Engagement: Regularly visit the sales floor, interact with colleagues and customers, and identify and resolve issues to enhance the shopping experience.
- Strategic Planning: Determine changes in marketing strategy by reviewing operating and financial statements and departmental sales records.
- Pricing Policies: Formulate pricing policies by assessing merchandising activities, identifying sales promotion opportunities, and authorizing clearance sales.
