The principal business of the Company is assembly / progressive manufacturing of vehicles including JAC Trucks, Dongfeng Trucks, import and sales of Renault vehicles in Completely Built-up condition. Ghandhara Automobiles Ltd., a leading automotive company in Karachi, Pakistan, is seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as an Assistant Manager Audit. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records and contribute to the overall success of our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and executing internal and external audits.
- Conduct risk assessments and evaluate internal controls to identify areas for improvement.
- Perform financial and operational audits in accordance with audit plans.
- Review financial statements, reports, and records to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Identify potential fraud or irregularities and recommend appropriate actions.
- Document audit findings, prepare detailed reports, and present recommendations to management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and enhance internal controls.
- Stay updated with changes in accounting standards, auditing practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in developing and maintaining audit programs and procedures.
- Support the development and training of junior audit staff.
- Provide guidance to management on best practices for risk management and internal controls.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as ACCA, CIA, or CA is preferred.
- Sound knowledge of auditing standards, accounting principles, and internal control frameworks.
- Proficiency in using audit software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work with a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Prior experience or internships in an auditing role is an advantage.
