Master Group of Industries, a leading industrial conglomerate based in Lahore, Pakistan, is currently seeking an entry-level Accounts Officer to join our finance team. As an Accounts Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are passionate about accounting and eager to start their career in a dynamic and reputable organization.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial statements, reports, and records.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing, payment preparation, and customer/vendor reconciliations.
- Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions in the accounting system.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.
- Assist with the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.
- Assist in ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and concepts.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
